ORACLE

• Five goals scored by five different Olympians in the season opener against the Green Jelly Beans (A near goal by Devon almost made it six).
  
  
• Juliette's last minute save in the season opener which stopped the Jelly Beans from scoring and set the tone for the rest of that  game.
  
  
• Keeper Sarah's dramatic one-on-one save in game two against the Pink Ladies which preserved a win for the Olympians (after the game Sarah confessed "I had my eyes closed on that one").
  
  
• Three goals scored in the first half against the Tigers in game six, with expert defense from Emily, Nora and Juliette (which unfortunately was followed in the second half by four goals scored by the Tigers).
  
  
• A number of "near" goals by  Jamie, Jordan and Amanda in game seven against the Green Demons.
  
  
• Players with cold and numb hands during the second half of game nine against the Pink Ladies (after the temperature dropped 10-15 degrees).
  
  
• Plenty of great communication and passing all season long.
  
  
• Fine goal keeping throughout the season by Sarah, Simone, Erikka, Jordan and Amanda.   Good "sweeping" by Casey who spent most of season at sweeper.
  
  
• Seven Olympians scored a goal this season and nine Olympians had either a goal or an assist.  The Olympians scored fourteen goals in all.
  
  

• Teamwork, camaraderie and good sportsmanship in each and every game.

Paul and I had a great time coaching you girls and watching you further develop as soccer players on the field.  We hope you, in turn, had half as much fun as we did.
